Building an electric car charging station doesn’t have to be difficult. As you consider your needs, answer a few questions below and you’ll get a customized recommendation that fits your charging preferences.
Where will your charging station be used?
Do you want a network connected charging station(s)?
A network connection allows you to remotely manage your charging station(s), monitor usage, control access, accept payments, connect to your electrical utility through a third party network provider. (Additional fees will apply). Connecting to a utility may allow access to rebates and off peak charging rates. 4G LTE is beneficial when a WiFi signal is weak or unavailable.
Do you want to control user access?
Access can be controlled through RFID cards/fobs (not included). This is typically used as an amenity, fee for service, employees only etc.
How will you mount your charging station?
Consider the location of your charging station(s) and how they will be mounted.
Pedestal option (sold separately) will require hardwire installation.
How will the power connection be supplied to the charging station(s)?

EvoReel provides a safe, convenient and easy way to manage your charging cable with a retractable reel that can be wall, ceiling, or pedestal mounted.
EvoCharge retractor supports the charging cable while in use or storage. The spring assisted tether attaches directly to the cable and can be mounted on a wall or pedestal.
The holster is a standard offering with the charging stations. It can be mounted to the wall or pedestal to easily store the charging cable and plug when not in use.
Do you want a WiFi enabled charger?
WiFi allows you to monitor your charger via an app. WiFi will also be needed if you want to connect the charger to your electric utility company to manage time of day and electrical costs. This connection will be possible through one of our preferred network providers or you may select an alternative provider. There are additional fees for connecting through a network provider.
